Santa Cruz Reserve Carbon wheels

Monday 2 October 2017, Filed in: Shop News

As you may have seen, Santa Cruz have launched their new Reserve Carbon wheel range - which is now available to order.

Rather than the typical rebrand of an existing carbon rim, Santa Cruz have sweated the details and produced 5 different rim profiles - 2 27.5" and 3 29"

The really impressive bit is the warranty back up, matching that offered on their frames. I quote;

"Lifetime warranty Lifetime. No gimmicks. Not limited. If you do actually manage to break our rim while out riding, we'll replace it for free. And probably high five you in the process! If it gets run over by a truck we'll help you out with a low cost accidental 'crash replacement', because life's too short to argue. We know riding time's too precious to keep you waiting, so we'll do our best to sort you out fast."

Not bad, eh?!

Each rim option is available on either DT Swiss 350 or Industry 9 Torch hubs, built in house at Santa Cruz HQ. They're using conventional j bend spokes and standard nipples to allow for easy spares and repairs, much appreciated by users and shops alike.

You can view the wheels here, priced at £1600 for DT and £1900 for Industry 9.

As a special introductory offer, we'll throw in your choice of Maxxis tyres (up to £65 each) along with Stans tubeless tape, valves and sealant. You can call in the shop to order, or place an order online and we'll contact you to discuss the details on the free tyres!

To finish up, here's Danny Macaskill to give you an idea of what you have to do to kill one of these rims.
