With the sad news that our local Post Office is closing, we’ve been forced to reconsider the services we choose for our web and phone orders.
All orders over £25 will be shipped free of charge, except for the odd few items (aerosols) where we have to charge extra.
Under £25, there'll be a £5 charge.
Small orders (up to Royal Mail’s “Large Letter” size) will still leave on a Royal Mail 1st class service, but we’ll no longer be using their Signed For service.
Anything larger than that will be sent with Interlink on a next working day service. We’ve pushed them for better pricing on sub-kilo packages, meaning that many of our web orders will benefit from an upgrade to Interlink over the previous Royal Mail service. We’ve been incredibly impressed with Interlink all round, with their delivery-window notification proving popular with customers too!
Interlink collection time varies for us in the Hope Valley, but is usually around 2-3pm. Please aim to get all orders in as early as possible, or they may leave the following day.
Royal Mail collect around 4.30pm from the post box. Again, earlier ordering is always appreciated!
Bear in mind that we’re closed Wednesdays, so late Tuesday and Wednesday orders will leave on Thursdays.
If you have an urgent requirement for your order then please contact us. We still have the backup option of heading to Bradwell or Castleton Post Office, so Special Delivery may still be a last minute option – just ask!
